Binoculars

When we left for Ethiopia, Kyle got this awesome pair of binoculars from his family.  Little did we know, they'd come in handy back here in the States.  About a month ago, there was an accident on a major road that is visible from our balcony.  We were trying to figure out how the accident happened since once of the cars was in a weird position...and Kyle remembered his binoculars.

We think one car pulled out of a driveway of one of those buildings in the distance and was hit.  We don't understand how they would have pulled out without seeing the oncoming traffic because there is nothing blocking the view...but that's all we could tell.  Also, it didn't look like anyone was hurt.

We also realized we could see better with the binoculars than just looking at something a foot away from our face.  It was bizarre.  But awesome.
